Since 1996 Matthias Balduwein is managing his company in Zülpich as a managing director as well as the designer of his exclusive BAJAZZO Collection. This in a way so successfully that he shortly achieved means one third of all German opticians are selling the BAJAZZO glasses exclusively produced in Germany.

After professional training and qualifying as master optician he worked step by step on his desire to realize his own ideas. The Vision to create design of glasses which are absolutely unique should take shape. A first Collection with 10 designs of glasses, being created ten years ago, was the very promising beginning for the extreme development which followed during the next years.

Nevertheless, then and today, the classical and fashionable design of products is on of the most important sources of inspiration. Whatever the inspiriration come from, the result is a remarkable design, which is incomparable on the market. It gives individuality to the spectacle wearer, without dominating his pesonal appearance. The general impression of the wearer and his glasses must convince – not the frame as single element.
